Radio Remote Control Operator Training

The Service Safety Training course trains Bobcat® compact excavator technicians. It reviews how to properly and safely perform regular service and maintenance. It is NOT meant to qualify trainees as skilled or trained service technicians.

Objectives

The course will teach trainees:

• The importance of reading and following all instructions and workplace rules.
• Basic hydraulic fundamentals and proper hydraulic system maintenance and service procedures.
• The excavator's components and safety features.
• How the operator controls and steering levers work.
• How to get on and off the excavator safely.
• The proper methods for transporting an excavator.
• The right way to check an excavator's service history and inspect it when it comes in for service.
