Bobcat Company is committed to investing time and resources in the communities where our customers, dealers and employees live and work. We have a long history of community involvement – supporting our employees in charitable contributions and volunteer organizations every year. We’re proud to partner with many organizations that support various initiatives within our communities.
Multiple times each year, hundreds of Doosan and Bobcat Company employees across North America take part in Doosan Day of Community Service.
Our teams participate in a variety of tasks – including working at local food banks, schools and medical facilities; painting and cleaning up community centers and food pantries; holding used book drives at local libraries; and performing construction tasks at community recreational facilities and homeless shelters. Our employees look forward to the events every year – having the opportunity to both serve others in the community and engage in a meaningful activity with their colleagues.
Fargo team members work with many nonprofit organizations, including the Great Plains Food Bank, Lake Agassiz Habitat for Humanity, Adopt a Highway, Charism, HERO, ND Autism Center, YMCA Cass-Clay, YWCA, Second Harvest Food Bank and Clean the World.
Bismarck employees come together every Doosan Day of Community Service to give back to their community by participating in various food, pet and school supply drives, highway cleanup and completing repairs at Fastrax BMX. Employees also donate their time to Dakota Zoo, Ft. Lincoln Trolley, Lutheran Social Services, BMX Track, Bismarck-Mandan Adpot-a-Highway, City of Mandan, Heavens Helpers Soup Café, Bismarck Parks & Rec, TR4 Heart & Soul and Harmon Lake.

Bobcat equipment is always at the forefront of helping communities recover from natural disasters. In 2017 Doosan Bobcat donated over $325,000 in equipment to assist with Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma relief efforts. When you see a news story involving disaster recovery, more often than not you will also see familiar white equipment on the scene. Although Bobcat Company cannot be everywhere disaster happens — the owners, operators and dealers of Bobcat equipment are there. We are proud to support them in every way we can.
A tornado touched down on Brian Kelbing's property, taking memories, belongings and his garage with it. Fortunately, volunteers from Doosan and Bobcat Company quickly arrived with equipment, a covered trailer and all hands on deck to help with cleanup. They used Bobcat equipment to clear the debris so salvageable items could be sorted. Although his keepsakes were destroyed during the tornado, Kelbing says he was glad no one was hurt. He’s grateful for the support he received from Doosan and Bobcat Company to help put the pieces back together.
We are excited to partner with Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) in 2020. Proceeds from the sale of limited edition scale models and co-branded shirts, mugs and hats are going directly to WWP. Bobcat and WWP are also partnering up to donate a Bobcat T76 to empower a veteran to achieve his or her goals.
When five-year-old Connor Menard told the Make-A-Wish Foundation he wanted to visit the Bobcat Company headquarters, we were honored to help make his dream come true. Connor, who suffers from a rare blood disorder, enjoyed a limo ride to our Gwinner, North Dakota, manufacturing facility, where he was welcomed as a guest of honor and spent the day seeing up close how Bobcat equipment is built.
Bobcat has a long partnership with the United Way. The company is proud to join with local United Way organizations in their quest to make their communities better places to live, work and raise families through charitable giving and volunteer efforts.
